A stand alone new building on the edge of the hospital site.
The design responds to the urban fabric and tackles problems associated with the proximity of railway-lines and the inner city. The building is dedicated to treating eye disorders. The three Operating Theatres provide capacity for both the incorporated Inpatient Ward and the Day Case Surgery required.
The three storey building has an Atrium in the centre to provide natural light to Waiting and Recovery Areas.
